Emma Ruppert, LCSW
Hi there, I am the founder and therapist at Connect Psychotherapy. At the heart of my work is a belief that meaningful change happens through connection — feeling seen, understood, and supported in a space that feels safe.
I specialize in working with young adults navigating life’s transitions, from stepping into adulthood, redefining relationships, or taking on new responsibilities, to adjusting to parenthood. These are times when roles shift, identity evolves, and life can feel overwhelming.
My approach is collaborative and relationship-centered. Therapy with me isn’t about being “fixed,” but about creating space to explore who you are, reflect on what matters most, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
I use a solution-focused framework while drawing from evidence-based approaches, including CBT and DBT skills, combining practical tools for the present with insight into patterns shaped by the past.
Above all, my goal is to offer a grounded, supportive, and connected space — a place where you don’t have to navigate change alone.

A Little More About Me
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and a mom to a sweet little boy — and a golden retriever who keeps life entertaining. You’ll often find me reading a good book, binging the latest Netflix limited series, or spending time outdoors on walks with my family. I mostly love soaking up the simple moments that make life feel full.
I believe that being human matters in therapy — and I bring that same grounded, real-life perspective into my work with clients.
